Google ships Veo 3.1 in three variants. They differ in fidelity, speed and price, and each is a separate model id over the API.

Tiered workflow

1. Explore prompts with Lite — lowest cost per second.
2. Refine shots with Fast — shorter turnaround.
3. Render finals with Veo 3.1.

Comparing hosts

For each variant the price table lists the cheapest and priciest host and how many hosts serve it. The cheapest host for Veo 3.1 is often not the cheapest for Fast or Lite, so check each variant separately.
